From nSJ to SJ
Seven young men (composed of four Filipinos, two Chinese, and one African) who had responded to God's call took their vows, from Novice to Juniorate, last 30 May 2009 at the Sacred Heart Novitiate in Novaliches. Fr. Jojo Magadia, S.J., Provincial Superior of the Philippine Province, presided the Mass.
The four Filipino new Juniorates were Bros. Bryan Arevalo, Jereme Asunto, Jason Brasileno, and Henrico Rey De Los Santos, an alumnus of the Ateneo de Naga University (BS Information Management, Batch 2005). Prior to entering the Society of Jesus, Bro. Henrico also joined the Jesuit Volunteers Philippines Foundation for one year (Batch 26, from 2005-2006). He was assigned at the Welcome Home Foundation in Bacolod City as a computer teacher for the deaf.
The Ateneo de Naga University would like to congratulate the seven new Juniorates! May they continue to follow the path of Saint Ignatius!
