Evaluation & Consultation Meetings
for the University Partner Communities

The University Social Involvement Council (USIC) through its Governance Cluster and the Center for Local Governance of the Ateneo de Naga University  conducted an Evaluation and Consultation Meeting with the University partner communities. It was first held on 10 February 2009 for the Municipalities of Cabusao and Calabanga  then on 17 February 2009 for the Municipalities of  Buhi and Sagñay. The activity was conducted with the completion of the interventions provided to the partner communities last year (2008) and in preparation for this year (2009) based on the 3-Year Strategic Development Plan crafted by the University and the partner
communities.


The activity aims to:

1. measure the impact of the intervention(s) that has been delivered;
2. describe the changes observed or achieved;
3. identify the factors that brought about the changes;
4. identify the indicators that enables them to know that the changes and impact are indeed happening;
5. draw out lessons and insights from the entire experience;
6. rate the overall performance of the intervention(s) based on the
   achievements;
7. identify the ‘next steps’ towards sustaining the gains and realizing
   the goals set to be achieved.

The Evaluation and Consultation meetings were participated by the representatives from the Sangguniang Barangays of the pilot barangays; representatives of those who attended and/or participated the trainings conducted and the Counterpart Community Cluster (Governance).
