ADNU Has Two New Professors
Dr. Allan Sioson, Dean of the College of Computer Studies, and Dr. Rufino Ramos III, Director of the College Guidance Office, were conferred the rank of professor last 20 February 2009 at the Fr. Pedro Arrupe Convention Center.
The honorees presented their lectures: "Approximating Biological Life's Fundamental Units" by Dr. Sioson and "Happiness and the Filipino Youth" by Dr. Ramos.
The guests in the event were Dr. Milagros Esparrago, Chief Education Program Specialist of CHED Region V; Dr. Belen Azul, Supervising Education Program Specialist and In Charge of Teacher Education; Engr. Elma Naz, Education Supervisor II for Information Technology and Ms. Jean Paullete Salalima, Education Supervisor II for Communication and Humanities. Also present were Fr. Jose Cecilio Magadia, S.J., Father Provincial of the Society of Jesus; Fr. Joel Tabora , S.J., President of the Ateneo de Naga University ;
Dr. Rebecca Torres , Academic Vice-President; Mrs. Janet Badilla, Deputy Academic Vice-President for Formation; Mr. Ramon Nonito Ayo, Treasurer; Mr. Antonio Santiago, Director of the Office of Personnel Services; Dr. Bernardo Marquez, Chair of the College Faculty Ranking Committee; the Deans of the university's six (6) colleges; the honorees' relatives and other faculty members and personnel of ADNU.
Mr. Joshua Martinez, Chair of the Computer Science Department was the Master of Ceremonies.
